As you may have seen in Event Magazine, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve agreed a deal with Cava Ltd, Scotland’s leading promotional staffing agency.
Founded by Karen McPhee in 2004, Cava will be merged into the Mash Staffing business – forming Mash Scotland.
After 10 years of business, Karen was keen to find ways to grow alongside her clients, and felt that the Mash ethos was a great opportunity to do this.
And for Mash – formed in the same year – merging with Cava gives us the ability to improve our presence in the north of England and Scotland, particularly for our clients looking to activate campaigns during the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
It’s in line with our refreshed and rebranded online presence, which reflects our focus on three different staffing sectors: promotional and experiential, corporate and hospitality, and in-store and retail sales.
Karen, our new Client Service Director for Mash Scotland, said “I’m delighted with the opportunity to join such an ambitious business. When it comes to client service and being leaders in their field, Mash offers everything I believe to be pivotal to a successful staffing agency. One that my existing clients will find a positive step forward and new clients we see as an exciting offering for Scotland in Scotland”.
And Chris Wareham, our MD, said “We are immensely excited by the opportunity merging with Cava brings to Mash UK. We have many clients who have expressed an interest in our focus in Scotland and the North of England and in Cava we can live up to our mission to be staffing specialists within all of our chosen sectors.”
Mash Scotland will operate out of a Glasgow office, and continue working with existing Cava clients. The London office will support them with marketing and operations, helping them to grow the Scottish business both in Promotional Staffing, and in the Corporate Event and In-Store Sales sectors.
We’re delighted to start this new chapter in Mash history – and we look forward to getting to know our new Scottish staff!
