KIVA:: September Recipients

For this month's Kiva, Mash have decided to go for a slightly different angle to add a personal touch to our monthly donations. Whilst we normally help those starting out or improving their businesses, this time we're giving a little hand to those who need some extra cash in their personal lives - something most of us can surely relate to!

For this month’s Kiva, Mash have decided to go for a slightly different angle to add a personal touch to our monthly donations. Whilst we normally help those starting out or improving their businesses, this time we’re giving a little hand to those who need some extra cash in their personal lives – something most of us can surely relate to!

First up is Mohamed, a soon to be married young man from Palestine who has started his own business in Lebanon. Still in the early stages, it’s enough to get by but doesn’t quite cover the all important marriage legal documents. Our loan will solve his problem, make him a happy groom, and hopefully bring a smile to his face in time for the wedding.

Being a creative, musical lot here at Mash, we also wanted to extend our help to Murad by loaning him money to purchase a few new musical instruments.

Using his talent to support his family in Azerbaijan as well as entertain the masses, Murad will be able to purchase a few national instruments including the tar, kamancha, and balaban. Not sure what those are? We weren’t either, so here’s a little taster:
